Some vendor has a specific power-saving features, which could be the cause of the issue. To fix this, you could try the following steps
- Ensure apps related to updating data for CGM and Mi Band have full power and not optimized power (on Android 12 you do this on each individual app > Battery > Unrestricted. For the Mi Fit app (or Zepp)
- Do the same as above for Bluetooth. Settings > Apps > Bluetooth > Battery > Unrestricted. Here you have to show hidden system apps to see the Bluetooth apps.
- Set up xDrip+ to broadcast to WatchDrip+. xDrip+ > Settings > Inter-app settings > Broadcast Service API > ON.
- Important step. Launch Mi Fit or Zepp. Ensure the app can connect to your Mi Band. Allow it to sync. Dismiss the app and force stop. Relaunch. Allow it to sync. Dismiss the app.
- Launch WatchDrip+. Toggle Enable service to OFF. Wait a couple of seconds. Toggle Enable service to ON. Your Mi Band should now sync and update with WatchDrip+.
- Put your phone to sleep and check that it is being updated by WatchDrip+.
