Colorful DarkPlus is a Visual Studio Code theme extension based on the popular Dark+ default theme, with the added feature of more colorful accents. With this theme, you can enjoy a stylish and visually pleasing code editing experience.
Maximum compatibility with:
- Rust Analyzer + transparent InlayHints
- Solidity
- Motoko
- Open the Extensions sidebar in Visual Studio Code by pressing
Ctrl+Shift+X
or by clicking on the Extensions icon in the Activity Bar on the side of VS Code. - Search for
Colorful DarkPlus
in the search bar. - Click the Install button.
- Once installed, select the theme by going to File > Preferences > Color Theme and selecting
Colorful DarkPlus
from the dropdown menu.
If you would like to customize this theme to your own liking, you can do so by following these steps:
- Clone or download the repository from GitHub:

. - Open the folder containing the theme in Visual Studio Code.
- Make your desired changes to the
theme.json
file. - Press
F5
to launch the extension in a new window and preview your changes.
