It's that time of year when we come together to discuss the community building and maintenance goals for 2025, which the community manager will run and oversee.

I have ideas for the Grant Program.

The first idea is to grant maintainers who have closed at least one GH issue in the maintained repo during the past year a $100 USD.
Only one hundred USD because there are 75 maintainers, which already totals $7,500.

The second idea is to allocate $200 per month for valuable ideas (after all, 'IT' stands for 'INFORMATION Technology,' not 'Programming Technology'), which amounts to $2,400 per year.

These amounts will not necessarily be spent.
They will only be allocated, meaning they will be included in the budget for future payouts, but will be redistributed only through the submission of invoices.
And in the case of an 'invoice submission' mechanism, some maintainers may simply choose not to claim their grant for any reason, and there may be months when there are simply no ideas worth granting.

thanks, @aeworxet, so the idea behind the Grant Program is to have our very own Community Grant (if the budget allows), including receiving applications, reviewing, and selecting. This means we will be able to provide financial support to individual maintainers and TSC working on key projects and community initiatives. It will be something similar to how the GraphQL Grant program
