Is it worth linking to open issues and discussions? e.g. #480 - or are these too fluid?

Is it worth linking to open issues and discussions? e.g. #480 - or are these too fluid?

I'd not mentioned any issues for that reason, but maybe linking to some longstanding/'headline' issues would be helpful in fact. We could almost make the link the other way around to note how particular issues align with the priority areas (somehow - labels, milestones?)

Hmm let's not try milestones again haha, I'd say link to the roadmap in issues as oppose to linking issues in roadmap
