You offer no reasonable explanation when missile fortress is the only way to end a game before 1 hour and 30 minutes (which is the standard at this time).

That's exactly the reason for the nerf of this fortress. With a shorter range fortress and assault units will have a better chance to finish the game before 1h 30min expires

"assault" units do not get killed by missile fortresses because missile fortresses are single-target and low damage vs a huge amount of tanks.. which is the amount you need to walk through artillery

Missile fortresses are only good for fighting against aa units and sensor units.. which is how you win with artillery, not against it

By assault units, I meant units with allrouder weapons. You think Missile Fortress does a little damage? Then I have some bad news for you.
I wonder how you're going to kill touch units with fortresses if Wide Spectrum with upgrades has a range of 26.5?

Tip, I have seen you win many games using gauss dragon tracks and the many missile fortresses did not stop them.

The anti-aircraft weapons you need to assist your sensor unit will die to the missile fortress. Poorly controlled sensor units also die to the missile fortress. Not only that: if you are losing, the missile fortress prevents you from building a couple "assault" units to kill your opponent's sensor units. This helps you to win the game faster when you already have the artillery advantage.

The lategame weapons need to be OP so the game does not last forever.....
