only the classification panel is working with the new sidebar. i felt the 'Configure' popup was awkward and better to be always available. the 'Run' button loads the current settings from it before beginning.

It seems a nice GUI redesign! Can we do it available for all the other panels? Now, with the classification panel only, it's a bit confusing. Many thanks!

People are downloading moa from Sourceforge:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/moa-datastream/files/stats/timeline?dates=2014-06-01+to+2015-05-31

21,399 downloads last year.

In the next release, we are going to switch to the new version hosted in
github.

i updated the gui changes to the latest MOA code, and converted the first two panels (classification and regression) like the original classification panel changes.

please let me know if anything needs changed before i proceed with the remaining panels.

Thanks! I think that it could be great to have:

  • when a change is made in the left panel in the "Task", it should appear
in the command line on the left. It seems a bit confusing, to have both not
    connected
  • in the classification panel, when I change the task, and I press "Run",
nothing happens, as if the task is not being executed.
  • if the task has only a few parameters, as "EvaluateModel", maybe it's
better to have the parameters aligned on top than in the centre

That's cool! Thanks a lot!

By the way, something that could be nice to have in the future, are these
panels:

  • a sub panel to see the instances used
  • a sub panel to see the model
  • a sub panel to see the intermediate results of the Task (basically the
    println used as warnings)

Cheers, Albert
