Using LARS with WebSphere Liberty

How to:
One use case for LARS is to provide a mirror of parts of the WebSphere Liberty repository inside a firewall. Once your LARS server is up and running, it needs to be populated with features for your version of WebSphere Liberty. The simplest way to do this is:
- Download a zip of all the features for your version of WebSphere Liberty from IBM Fix Central. Type
wlp-featurerepo
into the search box to find the relevant zip for your Liberty installation (registration required) - Unzip to a local directory
- Upload the features to your LARS instance using larsClient
You can install features into WebSphere Liberty using a number of Liberty tools. For help on configuring these tools to install features from a LARS instance, please see the relevant Knowledge Center page:
