The first function average_of_squares, the docstring appears correct, the function was returning the sum and not the average.
Unsure what the convert_numbers function should do. I think the given example should be:
["4", " 8 ", "15 16", " 23 42 "] -> ["4.0", "8.0", "15.0", "16.0", "23.0", "42.0"]
in which case the function is correct and only the docstring needed updating. But if there's another expected output such as
["4.0", "8.0", "1516.0", "2342.0"]
then the function itself should be updated.
