Configured SD V1.0
For use with devices that have updated to the 1/8/22 firmware. Extract this release to the root of a freshly formatted FAT32 SD card. For more information, read the README file.
- This release does not include ROMs or BIOS files
- You can find RetroArch cheats.7z file in the
RetroArch/.retroarch/cheats
directory and theRetroArch/.retroarch/system/cheats
directory. Extract the systems that you want to use.
01/08/2022 Update
SPI Firmware Changes:
- The firmware has been modified so that the UI, language, sound files, and theme files are now located on the SD card.
- Added support for custom themes and fixed a display inversion issue when changing a theme.
- Fixed an issue with the display of the low battery icon.
- All future updates will modify files on the SD card.
SD Card Firmware Changes:
- All of the relevant OS files are now located on the root of the SD card inside the Miyoo directory.
- Added support for LCD color adjustment options. You must restart after applying changes.
- Fixed issues with the GameBoy battery saves, fullscreen options, and save states.
- Changed the native menu hotkeys (A = Confirm, B = Return)
- Fixed an issue with RetroArch fast forward. With SDL selected as the audio driver, you will still hear sound while using fast forward. This is disabled with OSS.
- Fixed an issue with the display rotation for some Konami arcade games.
Update Directions
- Download the package and extract the miyoo283_fw.img file to the root of your SD card.
- Remove the battery from the Miyoo Mini and insert the SD card into the device.
- Connect the Miyoo Mini to a standard wall charger (Type A to Type C) and wait for the upgrade. The device should automatically power on and you should see an icon of a rocket on your screen.
- After the upgrade screen changes to a charging icon, you can unplug the USB cable and reinstall your battery.
- Remove the miyoo283_fw.img file from the root of your SD card.
- Copy the folders inside the TF card directory in this package and paste them to the root of your SD card. Overwrite all files when prompted to do so.
