- Install Python Dependencies:
Without a virtual environment:
pip install -r requirements.txt
Or with a virtual environment:
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate # On Windows, use `venv\Scripts\activate`
pip install -r requirements.txt
- Install ffmpeg:

macOS:
brew install ffmpeg
You may have to install Homebrew: Homebrew Official Website Then run the installation command.

Linux:
sudo apt update sudo apt install ffmpeg

Windows:
Download and install
ffmpeg
from ffmpeg.org. Add the path to theffmpeg
binary to your system's PATH variable.
Test FFMPEG
installation:
Type: ffmpeg
into your terminal. You should get something like Copyright or the version. If it is not found see Troubleshooting
To start ConvertLite, navigate to the project directory and run:
python main.py
if python
doesnt work, try python3
(macOS/Linux) or py
(Windows).

- Libraries installed but you still get a ModuleNotFound Error

if there are problems with packages please try:

Windows Commands may also work on MacOS and MacOS Commands may also work on Windows.
If you encounter an error stating that ffmpeg
could not be found, ensure that ffmpeg
is correctly installed and its path is added to your system's PATH environment variable. Alternatively, you can set the IMAGEIO_FFMPEG_EXE
environment variable to the path of the ffmpeg
executable.
