Altruist Database

The Altruist Database is a not-for-profit open-data initiative of Sequencing.com. It is a rapidly growing dataset of anonymous genetic data freely accessible to the public. The data is stored in a fully customized Cassandra NoSQL cluster that protects long-term integrity for exabytes of data while providing powerful and incredibly fast querying capabilities.

This repo provides access points to the Altruist database, as well as querying and user interface functionality. Developers receive free access by registering for an account at Sequencing.com.
