Bug Fixes

  • The Windows 10 notification center toasts did not work on all systems.
  • The systeminformation library we use to detect GPUs would sometimes return an incorrect measure of the available VRAM. This prevented some users with supported GPUs from being able to mine. We've updated the library & added a new NVIDIA System Management Interface (nvidia-smi) integration. This should reduce the number of false negatives that were occurring.

New Features

  • Added a Salad icon to the Windows tray. Double-clicking on the Salad icon in the tray will toggle between showing & hiding the Salad window. Right-clicking on the Salad icon in the tray will show a context menu with an option to exit.
  • Added a status overlay to the Windows taskbar to indicate when Salad is prepping or chopping.

  • Added a "Close to Tray" option in the settings panel. When enabled, the "X" in the top right hides the Salad window. You can exit using the Salad icon in the tray.

Maintenance

  • Updated to Electron 10.1.0 (based on Chromium 85).
