Ring-of-Fire Quicksheet

We create small ring Mini-Groups (aka a Ring) in Telegram to organize themselves to create and balance channels between them. Keep the main group in Telegram for any question on Lightning and/or a place where the Mini-groups can come ask for help/advice
Constantly. Rings-groups (the mini Telegram groups) are prepared in advance, so people who want to join a Ring, join that mini-group for that Ring until enough participants have joined to go to action.
In the past we used to create polls for different sizes of groups. This worked like a charm in the times that this concept was new. But since LN+ made it a lot easier to form whatever liquidity swap form one preferred (within on without the social coordination we can find here amongst ourselves), so it also changed the time preference of a lot of node operators.
Therefore we want to give the control of the whole group also more to align with the possibilities: You, not we, will create Pleb Pulled and Promoted rings.
- You decide which size of channel you want to use for the ring
- You create a TG group for yourself (and your future Ring members)
- Share the link to that group in the main Rings-of-Fire group and shill it how hard you want.
You can decide to do it with or without initial balancing, via LN+, with igniter script or old school via lncli, you can even put your own requirements for participants to join. The Ring is yours, we only give you a platform to Promote, you are the Pleb that Pulls that ring :)
Do keep in mind that you are the RingLeader, all the organizing is on you, but we are a community so feel free to ask for help or advice at any time!
Everyone is allowed to just make an LN+ liquidity swap without making a group, but we will not pin those in the messages, that is for yourselves. We want to offer especially the community, so you can communicate with your peers in a later point in time as well.
If you don't feel ready to become a RingLeader, check the pinned message for any Pleb Pulled and Promoted groups/links. And simply join there.
When no such Ring offers are up, feel free to ask/say what Ringsize you are looking for, maybe someone will step up.

- Join the Rings-of-Fire main group (probably you did, that is why you are here?)
- Look for the pinned message there you will see a list of Ring sizes
- Check here if you can find a Group/Ring of which the size corresponds to the amount of Sats you want to commit.
*If you find a size that suits you proceed with step 4. *If you don't see a size that suits you, call out in the main group that a poll should be made for your preference. This will be added to the pinned message as seen in point 2.
- Click the link relative to the (size of ring) you want to join. The Poll will look similar to this:

A red cross will be shown, don't be thrown off by that.
- You see the link -> Jump to step 7
- You didn't see the link -> proceed do step 6
- If the link didn't show, or disappeared before you were able to click it. Click on the lightbulb, the URL should pop-up now as described in 5.
- You should have arrived in your new Ring :)
