Background: Rockbuster Stealth LLC is a movie rental company seeking to use its existing movie licenses to launch an online video rental service, in order to stay competitive with companies like Netflix and Amazon Prime. To achieve this goal, the company must understand its current business, from product insights, market information and more.

Context: This project was completed as part of the CareerFoundry's curriculum.

Topics covered were relational databases, SQL, data querying, filtering data, cleaning and summarizing data, joining tables, subqueries, and common table expressions.

This knowledge was used to solve business questions for Rockbuster Stealth LLC, a fictional movie rental company.

Key questions include:

Which movies contributed the most/least to revenue gain?

What was the average rental duration for all videos?

Which customers are Rockbuster companies based in?

Where are customers with a high lifetime value based?

Do sales figures vary between geographic regions?
