Transcript/mRNA not harmonized in output

In the LiftOn output it seems like output with status=Liftoff or status=LiftOn_chaining_algorithm produces transcript features while output with status=miniprot produces mRNA features. Is there a reason why these are not harmonized in the output?

I'm running the following command

lifton \
    -g $GFF \
    -o pr_090_001.lifton.gff3 \
    -copies \
    --threads 10 \
    $TARGET \
    $REF

using v1.0.5.
