MuOS-Popeye-Theme

Theme for MuOS featuring visual styling from Fleischer Studios' Popeye the Sailor cartoons of the 1930s and 1940s. Some decors are hand-drawn by yours truly. Recognize that the typos on the launch screen are based on the "per-cu-litter" Popeye-speak.

Only for MuOS BANANA version. Details about MuOS here. TL;DR: It's a custom firmware project for select models of Linux-based emulation handhelds.

Supports most Simplified Chinese glyphs.

ASCII font: ABeeZee by Anja Meiners, licensed under OFL-1.1

Simplified Chinese font: Noto Sans SC by Adobe, licensed under OFL-1.1

Visual: Popeye animated cartoons, originally created by Fleischer Studios for distribution by Paramount Pictures, currently owned by Turner Entertainment or in the Public Domain. Popeye characters from King Features Syndicate.
