it was originally intended to be controlled with my smart watch, but the browser/android ui controls work too

Wow this is so clever. I did not know you could use the media controls in a creative way like that. But maybe you should add an image or GIF so people can know what you mean by "media controls"? Most people do not use this feature and forget it exists, and when they finally find it they probably don't know that the "next" and "previous" buttons are for choosing and the "pause" button is for selecting. Anyways, you did a great job on this!
