Brief self-introduction [max 500 words]

I am Alfred Wang 王德樂, learning Image Processing and Computer Vision under the guidance of Prof. Chia-wen Lin 林嘉文 in NVLab. This is my first year in National Tsinghua University.

Why Computer Vision? [max 500 words]

I am quite fascinated with Computer Vision techniques, such as face identification, medical diagnosis and so on. I am firmly believed that CV has a extremely bright future and that is the reason.

What do you want to achieve in the course? [max 500 words]

Since CV is a wide-range field and proceeds rapidly, I am eager to grasp the essential knowledge of CV including basic concepts, important skills, and latest prospect.
