It is a Web App built using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
It is a chat application that requires users to sign up first.
For sign up they require to validate first with verification code.
Upon successful registration, users are redirected to a user area page where they can see other signed-up users with their full name, profile image, and active status. Users can select any other user to start a chat with them.
To log out, users can click on the logout button, which will redirect them to the login page and change their status to offline for other signed-up users.
To enter the chatting page again, users need to log in with their registered email and password.
To install ChatApp, users need to download the project's zip file, unzip it, and copy the folder to the htdocs folder of their XAMPP installation.
Then, they need to start Apache and MySQL from the XAMPP control panel.
Then, open localhost/phpmyadmin in their browser, create a new database named chatapp, and import the SQL file provided in the ChatApp folder.
Finally, users can open localhost/ChatApp to access the chat application.
