Accelerate (last prerelease)
This version is still only for play testing.
Changes:
- Final boss added (red boss)
- Bug preventing players from entering boss levels was fixed
- Small tweaks to the pathfinding settings
- Fix for enemies taking a long time to reach player
Instructions (since there's still no tutorial yet):
Arrow keys to move, hold shift to dash (which is the only way to kill enemies), and space to jump.
While dashing, you can move in any direction, but your "stamina" bar will start to empty. Once it's empty all the way, you'll have to wait for it to recharge a bit before you can dash again.
Types of enemies:
Red - will charge at you and cause damage over time while touching you
Green - will shoot little bullets at you
Blue - explodes when it gets too close to you
Yellow - shoots lasers at you
Bosses:
Blue/Green: Dash into them to cause damage over time. These bosses will charge at you and attempt to harm you with a ring of particles
Orange/Pink: Avoid their spikes when they attack! These bosses use turrets to help them fight, but they can also be aimed against them...
Red: Just stay alive until the timer on the boss runs out. Avoid the boss's lasers, spikes, and henchmen
Upgrade your character in the shop (be warned that there's a good chance your progress will be reset once I release the full version, with all the different upgrades balanced out)
Around the different maps, there are recharge stations that will recharge your dash fully, but there will be a cooldown each time you use them. Additionally, if there are more than one of them located in a map, they will be disabled until a different recharge box is used.

This version contains the finished game, minus the boss levels and some polish. This version is mainly to give playtesters access to the main portion of the game.

This version contains the finished game with four out of the five bosses completed. This version is still only for play testers and is still packed full of bugs. Full release will hopefully be coming soon.

Playtesting Version
Still a lot of things missing. A ton of bugs are still present, and a lot of things look ugly and unfinished. Play at your own risk.
All of these problems will be fixed eventually, but this release is here for anyone who would like to preview the project.
