Same as V3.0, but fixed a corrupted USBInjectAll.kext.

  • Updated the main EFI to OC 0.8.4. Refreshed OC 071 EFI (mainly for Catalina support).
  • Updated kernel patches to enable full CPU power management to Sandy-Bridge CPUs (V1 Xeon's). All motherboard revisions can run macOS (Catalina - Monterey) efficiently.
  • Use config_SandyCPUs.plist for V1 Xeons, and config_IvyCPUs.plist for V2 Xeons.
  • Check Readme.md for detailed instructions.
  • (10/5/22) Fixed USBInjectAll.kext. Added iMacPro1,1 support

  1. Added support for three more CPUs models: 2643 V2, 2667 V2, 2687w V2.

These CPUs require special patched CpuDef table to prevent Kernal panic during booting (KP: # of threads, but (#+1) registered from MADT ...). I have finally figured out how to properly patch them, used in conjunction with enabling "Drop Oem CpuDef". If you have one of these CPUs, use one of the provided config_xxx.plist files and rename it as config.plist.

  1. Updated all CPUPM files: with full dual CPU supports.

  2. LAN driver default to IntelMausi.kext. Dual port driver (AppleIntelE1000e.kext) may cause NVME booting issue in some configuration.

  • Refreshed and cleaned up the config.plist.

  • Added boot-chime and other resources

  • Added SYMBIOS MacPro7,1 support (with USBInjectAll.kext update that fixed the USB ports disappearing issue). With MacPro6,1, however, the system seems to handle the CPU power management better.

  • Removed TSC related kext (no longer needed, for both Big Sur & Monterey)
