ZynFusion only reads presets if their path is in the main directory. My desktop is cluttered and not having the option to have presets located in a more organized way is very annoying.
A good solution is to automatically create a hidden /home/$USER/.zynaddsubfx/bank directory so we know where to put our presets and at the same time it's hidden. But the best option is to have them stored in /home/$USER/.local/share/zynaddsubfx/bank
BTW ZynFusion lacks Nio Settings. We can't get Jack to use our midi keyboards because there's no menu..

Per the Nio Settings, it's my understanding that the vast majority of users end up using the .desktop files which launch the system with flags. e.g. zynaddsubfx -I jack -O jack for jack audio output and jack midi input.
