The gnome-keyring-daemon -r --unlock --components=secrets prompts you to specify a password. Press Ctrl+D twice after you specify the password.

The gnome-keyring-daemon command appears to hang and it's not obvious that it's prompting for a password. We should update the note to mention something about this:

The gnome-keyring-daemon command may appear to hang. It is actually waiting for you to enter a password. Type your keyring password (typically the same as your Linux user password), then press Ctrl+D twice after you specify the password.
