Cave Story
Cave Story (Doukutsu Monogatari) is a Freeware Platform-Adventure Video Game Released in 2004 for the PC. It was developed over 5 years by Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya in his free time. It is one of the greatest most beautifully crafted games, particularly because of its compelling plot and musical genius.
Emulator: NXEngine
Create a folder called CaveStory in
/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ports/
Add all of the game files into the CaveStory folder (particularly "Doukutsu.exe" and the "data" directory)
/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ports/CaveStory
If it is in Japanese, there is a game patch by Aeon Genesis that will make it English. Due to Copyrights we can't provide sources, but Google is your friend.

If you want to change the default controls, press F3 to bring up the Options menu and select "Controls".
