What do you think about:

  1. storing project metadata in the pyproject.toml file and ...
  2. moving to poetry as a building, packaging and dependency manager?

If such a PR is welcome, I'll see what I can do.

The PR #346 is about poetry, but things went not so good there, that is why I tried the pdm manager and I found it more suitable and easier than poetry in the #346 .
