Can filter lists work out of the box with config file?

Trying to find out if I can use a community maintained filter list like this one: https://github.com/StevenBlack/hosts as an ad/malware blocker. Is that configurable out of the box?

Hi @anmshkmr, these are two different formats that are not compatible with each other, but adding support for this format should be quite simple(very similar).

updns is almost a toy, only supporting basic DNS requests over UDP and has not been tested. Currently, updns lacks maintenance and there are no plans for further development.

I suggest you look for other DNS alternatives.
