How to add copyright symbol and year that is auto updated?

I have a feeling the copyright area was removed.
How would I go about adding a copyright area with a symbol and auto year to a new reusable block that I can add to a footer widget? As I think that is now the way to do so. There is also being done some work on this in Gutenberg.

Yes, the copyright area was indeed removed.
If there was already a copyright area and this is an update, then the content gets migrated.
I'm not sure how to handle it for new installations yet, but I don't consider this a release blocker.
We can discuss and find a way to urge users to use reusable blocks more...

Hmm I think after version 3.0 is released that I should create a tutorial on this issue.
I will just leave it open for now.
