I do believe I have added this issue to give you and overview of where the Gridd theme begins and where I am working it toward. After some adjustments I make sure that the menu is on one line. That is looks alright with the Site title and Tagline.
I just started a new local site.
Site title: Øverland
Tagline: Nytt liv til landbruket – lokal økologisk mat i fellesskap
I believe because of the very long tagline the menu gets pushed to the right side.
In general the top menu needs a lot more space then the general Gridd theme gives it. Branding takes too much space. This means I will need to adjust the Branding width and can do so through the Grid. Like so.
I am seeing that I will likely have to remove the text from the tagline and perhaps use it as a kind of heading inside the content instead.
I go to Site Identity and remove the text inside the Tagline. Now I need to change the height of the Header.
Changing the header height. There are two places where one can change it. Through the
Main Grid Layout or the Layout blocks -> Header
or
Changing Header height through the Main Grid Layout.
But the change does not show in the Layout blocks -> Header.
This just adds an overview of how I would solve the above.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
How I adjusted the Kanyini header.
Above the Branding block I changed it from Auto to 360px. I changed the Header Max Width to 55em. The menu is now on one line with the site title.
Next up I am noticing that the underline of Home is visually taking too much space. So I am thinking that moving it closer to the Home menu link will make it stand out less.
