Sugestion for creating a webdirectory with categories similar to old yahoo or dmoz

HI All.

I would like to create a webdirector, with categories, and sub-categories similar to (the main functionality i want is the subcategories, and being able to have relations btw categories, e.g clicking on the subcategory computer/games will take one back to to games/Video_Games )

Is that something that can be accomplished with Atlas Content modeler? and if so got any tips, tutorials that includes functionality similar to what I want to create?
