User story

As a wis2box maintainer, I want to create dedicated MQTT users for certain internal topics so that users publishing to a wis2box, from let's say a CAP editor, are restricted to only publishing under that internal topic. This should be optional.

Acceptance criteria

  • Automated mosquito users created based on environment variables of form WIS2BOX_BROKER_USERNAME_*, WIS2BOX_BROKER_PASSWORD_*, WIS2BOX_BROKER_TOPIC_*.

Definition of done

  • unit/functional tests added/updated
  • documentation updated
  • live demonstration provided

2024-11-21: we can revisit as part of wis2box and CAP. We need to validate requirements for multiple users as part of CAP publication acceptance.
