A default mister install does not have a Mister.ini file. So currently when you try to edit settings and save them, it is written to Mister.example.ini.
For a new users, this might be a confusing. It should probably prompt the user to create a Mister.ini if one does not exist. Right now, it looks like the setting changes are applied, but they do not actually work.
