As of now, there has been no fix for the "ffmpeg returned NOT success" error, and the dev hasn't had any activity for the past few months. They may be still busy trying to find a fix for this, but if it takes too long someone might have to speak with them directly. They seem to have a Twitter account, it's at https://twitter.com/QCFium and there is also a link to it on their GitHub account page. I won't do it myself because I never really cared about Twitter and I don't see myself making a Twitter account in the near future.
