I have two Solax X1 inverters, each one connected by pocket wifi 2.0. I would like to add it to Home Assistant, but without being dependent of the internet.
There are some solutions using the local API, but the main question persists:
Will I be able to have readings in the periods of no solar production?
As far as I know, the pocket wifi turned off during that periods, so I'm assuming that even by local access, I won't work.
This solution looks promising since is not dependable of the pocket wifi dongles.
Can you please tell if the ModBus connection will provide readings even during no solar production periods?
