URL: https://hpbn.co/

Browser / Version: Firefox 59.0
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.12
Tested Another Browser: Yes

Problem type: Something else
Description: Offline mode is missing CSS or content
Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to https://hpbn.co/
  2. Wait until the notification appears in the left corner (the content has been downloaded and can be viewed offline).
  3. Switch off your connection

This site is using service worker, which is probably the main issue here.

Tested on several different devices (Pixel with Android 8, OSx 10.12 with FF 59, Win 8.1 FF 57).
It always fails in FF.

NOTE:
not ALL pages fail to load the sheet. The Table of Content does as well as e.g. https://hpbn.co/building-blocks-of-tcp/

Thanks @zoepage. I might be missing something here but it appears the site is working OK when offline in Firefox 59 for Android. Same on desktop actually.

Can you give an example of a piece of content and show with screenshots what's expected vs actual? Would help me try to reproduce the issue. :)

I'm able to navigate around once offline and the content seems normal to me.

This is working for me.
Maybe it has been fixed.
Let's close preemptively and we can still reopen in case this is not fixed.
