Install of OS 2.0.5.6 beta 6 in multirom (MMI) or plain (PI)

  1. If I shutdown the system after using it, it always reboots. If I shutdown the system and shutdown immediately after reboot again, the phone shuts down and powers off (MMI and PI). :-(

  2. Making of videos with the internal camera works and playing that videos on the phone works like a charm (MMI and PI). THANK YOU ;-)

  3. All 5 gestures on lock screen are working. THANK YOU :-)

  4. If the phone is powered off and I connect it to the power supply, on MMI it shows the standard loading indicator and on PI there is only a small text "Charging!\n\n??/100". :-(

  1. Sorry I have no idea how to fix this.

  2. (it shows as 2 but I really typed 4) I only use multirom so never saw this. Is it this: Charging when power-off kimmoli/sfos-onyx-issues#29 ?
Then maybe his fix will work: https://github.com/kimmoli/droid-hal-configs/blob/545202acd1ab417a226b035564099aed7b15a059/sparse/lib/systemd/system/actdead.target.wants/droid-hal-init.service (create a link /lib/systemd/system/actdead.target.wants/droid-hal-init.service to ../droid-hal-init.service). It seems to be already done in 2.1.0.9.

add 1)
Thanks, lets see what the future brings.

add 4)
Exactly that's what I see (kimmoli: This "charging screen" is just ittybitty small greenish text "Charging! ??/100" in middle of screen.). The link to "droid-hal-init.service" in "/lib/systemd/system/actdead.target.wants" exists in OS 2.0.5.6 beta 6.

add 1) not a fix but the application SalifishReboot might be useful

add 4) there seems to be more to change. see mer-hybris/android_system_core#21

in /init.rc:
mer-hybris/android_system_core@7f3e71d

and in /init.qcom.rc:

Since this issue does not really have a valid headline i wanna break into it and wanna ask how i can get my rom updated with multirom - i have so far the latest version for the opo (around 04.2016) and no option to flash zip within the romlist :(

Uhhh. 'No option within the romlist' what does that mean? Which recovery do you use?

I think I am using TWRP_multirom_bacon_20160417-01.img and when booted in recovery have to press the menu button (square with 3 lines in upper right corner) and then I can choose... well I don't remember but somewhere there is the multi rom menu where I can add a sailfish rom.

I am sorry, i tried to tell that i should be able to select a rom and flash the update but the option is just missing.

Thanks^^ Well - u select an existing rom and should have an option to flash a zip afaik - this is the point where i have trouble since it is missing. The twrp version matches mine.
I don't wanna add a rom, i wanna update. :)
