As a new user i need something like a big warning that new profiles can't contact anyone within the first three days. It was driving me nuts to be too stupid to find something like a "Message" Button on the profile.. then i found out about the support forum, just to see again: you have no permission to post here. In the end i had to nag the support to get the info on how to contact someone

During the signup process you were given the same statement that I quoted.

Maybe I am the first to complain about this and it is only me so feel free to close this if it does not apply.

But I would argue that you have the longest sign up process I have seen in a long time and so i guess some infos in that process will get lost. Especially if you sign up and try to start finding a host at the next day, I could image some people simply forget that info 😉

Maybe an easy to implement solution is a disabled (grayed out) button for messages with a tooltip: “disable within first 3 days” ?

+1. I am a new members since 30 min. I signed up on my mobile so you have to realize that many people signing up using their mobile won't read everything that is stated, easy to overlook.. I like the suggestion here above.
