it looks previously installed location is in another drive and the installer trying to install to the location.

It might help as workaround to removing last install location.

The previous drive isn't connected (and doesn't work anymore) how would I remove last install location?

It's expected to be stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VCC registry key if you're installing for single user, or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\VCC registry key if you're installing for system

Tried it, and it didn't work. Any other suggestions?
