new release and future maintenance

Hi!

This module is the most popular on Puppet Forge by download count and second by rank yet it hasn't seen a release in over 8 years.

Is this module still maintained? I see there has been some commits since the last release, could a new release be shipped to the forge?

Alternatively, would you recommend using one of the alternate implementations (e.g. eyp, zleslie)? How do they differ from this module?

Is there a possibility of converging efforts towards a single module that everyone contributes to?

Note that I have filed a similar issue in the other two module, in the hope some future collaboration will emerge (NTTCom-MS/eyp-bacula#9 voxpupuli/puppet-bacula#136).
