I did this to see if building static binaries on alpine (with musl) would give us working DNS on Toon.
However, alpine does not have an armv5 target, so that is kind of moot.
The alpine build does work (did not test LVGL, which is minus uiapexcard because the date library doesn't build on alpine), so I'm PRing this anyway to finish later.
