Twirpy has been an incredibly useful project and judging by the amount of stars and downloads it has, others seem to agree as well! Given that it is the only Twirp integration for Python it serves a pretty important role in the ecosystem.
There is just one problem on: the project seems to be unmaintained, if not dead.
The last release was in April 2022 even though the last major change was merged into this repo on December of 2023. There are outstanding issues and PRs opened by users that have remained untouched for quite sometime. So given this, I wanted to open up a discussion on the path forward for this project since I think it is a pretty important project and would hate to see it unmaintained.
I understand the nature of open source projects and totally get that people get busy! It is no ones fault, I just want to see this project improved upon since judging by the stats it is still used quite frequently.
