Describe the bug
When I boot Monterey I almost immediately get the sign in screen but as soon as I sign in a loading bar appears. After about a minute it goes to the black screen with apple logo with the loading bar still present and when it eventually finishes loading (about 3 minutes) it goes to the desktop.
**Device
macOS Version: Monterey
EFI Version: Monterey
EFI type (regular or HeliPort): Regular

You may have FileVault turned on, a MacOS disk encryption feature. This may be lagging out your desktop while it boots. I would recommend turning it off in System Preferences.
This isn't only related to Monterey and applies for all versions of MacOS.
