but show needs stupid splash-screens anyway ? disabled with 'splash=verbose' (shouldn't it just write boot log in nice, decorated window instead of be absent completely ?) for now.

Plymouth is forcibly disabled anyway. And it's buggy to the point of kernel crash. But having a funky console with some background would be nice.
