There is currently not much said about how a dev environment should be run and/or how the code base is tested. The only thing in the readme currently is the simple "quick start".

There should at least be something about testing in the readme.

Maybe change the "quick start" to a "recommended dev environment", or something?

Also: The readme contains commands where config is just cat'ed/echo'ed to files. Maybe actually create these dev/demo files in the repo in a convenient sub directory?

The current readme doesn't mention installing with extras either

pip install -e .
