Roadmap

1. Better development environment and continous integration

• Find a new CI system for building packages
• Set build status on commits
• The packages must be upgradeable
• Find a better place to host the package repository
• Also build packages for Debian and compatible OSes

2. Improvements that tidy things up

• Information about client certificates should be stored in the database instead of as files
• Automatically prune old files from the database

3. Make the web interface more useful

• The website should have a main menu
• When new machines are approved, you should be able to edit the hostname
• Machines that stop reporting must be marked as inactive
• The file browser should show older versions and highlight changes between versions

4. Add/port functionality from the "legacy" version

There is a ton of functionality in the legacy version of Nivlheim that is currently in use at the University of Oslo. The plan is to include it in this project, but some of the code should be rewritten or simplified.
