1. Milestone #1 "Firehose" ✔️ Done!

Make the software ready for a period of testing with real-time production data. See how the software performs under a realistic load. Since no authentication is in place yet, the test will be performed in a closed environment at USIT. No doubt testing the software with loads of data will lead to optimizations and adjustments.

2. Milestone #2 Public beta ✔️ Done!

Open up the testing environment to the public, at least to employees at USIT. Authentication and authorization will be in place. Access to the system during the beta test phase will have to be restricted based on current USIT policies and organizational hierarchy.

Beta testing will provide plenty of opportunity to present new features and get feedback from users, as well as to get further experience on how the system (especially the API and website) performs under realistic conditions.

3. Milestone #3 Production ready

This last leg of development is about making the software stable and secure enough to run in production. It also involves making the rest of the necessary features to be able to replace the previous version currently running at USIT.
