Currently, there is no clear (at least documented) Git workflow to follow when developing on DFaaS. This can be confusing when more people are working on the project (especially thesis students). Given the specific nature of this project (a prototype), we can evaluate among the three most common workflows and/or choose one and customize it:
I think the GitHub flow is appropriate for our prototype repository, with the extension (perhaps) to create a dedicated branch for each graduate student. Anyway, we should choose a workflow and document it somewhere to inform the contributors to this project.
