Media Monkey Remote not working

I just installed the latest Unified server on W11 and Android client.
The client connects with the server and using generic media controls it will control my MM application.
However, when I try to use the Media Monkey-specific remote version it does not work.
My MM Windows client is version 5.0.4.2690
The MM Specific remote at the top of the app says [Not Running] and none of the media controls work.
Is this documented somewhere?
