Use of Blockly is not justified

One of "hard" the project requirements was to use Scratch/Blockly in a way that would justify the complexity of using drag & drop composable blocks to configure/personalize the app. With just two available Blockly blocks, both of which are required to be put together in a fixed predetermined layout and which mostly serve to present the user with a set of required configuration parameters, I feel that this requirement was largely not met.
