@anasereijo if you don't mind I will post here any outdated or unmaintained or broken snap I see on the store?

yakyak is a google hangouts app, google hangouts does not exist anymore and the snap was last updated 27 May 2021, do not recommend this anymore, or the best would be to contact snapcrafters to unlist this app or make it private so It does not show up anymore

google play music does not exist anymore and the snap was Last updated 8 January 2020, do not recommend or better make it private

Success story, blender snap is provided by blender themselves. Do not show blender t-paw anymore, unmaintained and Last updated 17 May 2017 but also redundant

YES @Feichtmeier, but is this really the right place for a clean up ? I totally agree that it is in dire need of a clean up, but doesn't this also apply to snapcraft.io? Can we tag someone (or everyone 🤣 ) from the snap team?

yes it needs to be fixed online be either asking the publishers to set their apps to private or by changing the list of recommended snaps of that category. sure we could fiddle some filters in our client but since it should also be correct on the snap store servers it's better changed on their side.

It looks like the app is unmaintained since 2017 and does not eve nstart anymore. Looking at their website it looks to me that they moved away from this snap and provide a free tier for trial as a web app

Edit: ah, any all three apps show up in the bunch of snaps you get when you open up art and design. Kinda sad since all apps were kind of useful and professional but if they do not start and are unmaintained I think it is not a good user experience when people see them, install them, and then they don't start.
