Would be epic if the script could post a link to the song on spotify ;D Something like

Yes this is possible. Or It was when I coded on this project. Could get nice information.
Since I'm still new to C++ I need to find ways to read this data. I'm able to get this information with a simple C# code.
If there is someone else that know more about C++ and can understand my code. I would be happy to share the C# sourcecode.

Since I have not been learning me more about C++ I will not be able to do this. But if more people want this I can put down my other time in learning me C++ again. Post a comment here or on the mIRC forums if that feels better. Or just thumb up xbette's post.

Anyway var %np = $dll(spoton.dll,announce,0) is wrong.
I have fixed this in the HowTo guide. Since I use a various of different languages I thought that = would set the variable. but that's not the case. The fixed version should be: var %np $dll(spoton.dll,announce,0)

I looked through my sourcecode in C#, and this still works. I can grab the URI and a lot of other things. I was going to stop updating this DLL-file because I thought no people was using it. But I will give it a try and start learning more C++ right now, and then continue on this project.

That's fine. The project is not so advanced. But will come to that part to grab the track. The reason I'm going to learn me C++ (Programming) again, and start from zero again. I lost some knowledge because of other languages.

This can take many hours for me, or days. Just so you know that this is maybe not added instantly. There is a lot of things I need to learn to grab this data. In C# (Programming) everything is so easy to grab this information. C++ is a bit harder.

Just wait and you will maybe notice when I have added the data. :)
